Deadline to change your Party Enrollment to Democrat.
Any changes received after this date will not go into effect until June 30, 2026
Note: The Schuyler County Board of Elections will be open, Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 9:00am to 5pm.

New Yorkers must register to vote by certain deadlines to be eligible to vote in Primary and General Elections. There are also deadlines for making changes to your registration, such as changes to address or enrollment.
The online registration portal can be used to change a name or address, or can be used to change your party enrollment from one party to another, or to enroll for the first time in a party.
The right to vote is one of our nation's oldest and most important entitlements, and with this right comes responsibility. Free and open elections are the basis on which this country was formed and you can make a difference by becoming a poll worker to help protect those freedoms (NYS Board of Elections).
